Mildred Juanita Holt

Mildred was born to Johnnie Knix and Esau Ringer, in Oklahoma on March 17th, 1936. Together with her parents and siblings, Mildred moved out to California in the early 1940s. In 1954, she was married to the love of her life, Jerry Dean Holt, for 56 years. Together they brought daughters Gerri Ann Moore and Deanna Lynn House into the world. She supported her husband decision to become a Baptist Preacher. Mildred didn't have many hobbies, but enjoyed doing the same things as her daughters did. She was also a lover of music, especially for Motown and Elvis. Mildred worked and retired as a telephone operator for AT&T in 1995.

Mildred is survived by her daughters Gerri Ann & Deanna Lynn; grandchildren Angela Lynn Schumacher, Roxann Michelle Craig, Andrea Lee Gulley, Joshua Lee House, Jacob Saunders House & granddaughter-in-law Elaine Guillermina House. As well as eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. And her nieces and nephews who, affectionately called her either "Aunt Bit" or "Aunt Mildred."

At the time of her passing, Mildred was surrounded by family so that she would not be alone.

Services for Mildred are as follows:

A visitation, chapel service and graveside will all be held on Friday, November 1st at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.

Visitation will begin in the Hillcrest Chapel at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Chapel service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with graveside immediately after in Garden of Peace.
