Rebecca Poor Went home to be with the Lord on July 28th, 2021, she was born on December 7th, 1958 in Whittier, California to Willie and Vivian Cornelison.
She was one of 11 children. Rebecca Graduated from South Highschool in 1977. She Received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from CSUB in 1986.
Rebecca was a marketing director for Bakersfield Family Medical Center before becoming a 7th and 8th grade teacher at Stockdale Christian.
Rebecca went on to become a local business owner with her husband Paul.
Rebecca and Paul were married March 21st, 1987, after 4 Years of marriage they welcomed their daughter Elizabeth.
Rebecca's hobbies included traveling with Paul and Elizabeth and tending to her many plants.
She is preceded in death by Willie and Vivian Cornelison, Connie Cornelison-Evans, Donald Cornelison, and Allen Cornelison.
She is survived by her husband Paul Poor and daughter Elizabeth Poor and her remaining siblings: Susan Cornelison, Cherry and Jeff Martin, Candice and Kenny Salcido, Raymond and Celestine Cornelison, Muriel and Keith Christman, Jack and Peggy Cornelison and Curtis and Veronica Cornelison and many nieces and nephews.
Her laughter and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Services to be held at Canyon Hills Assembly of God on August 12th, 2021, at 9:30 am.
