Virginia Louise Watson was born to Elbert and Zona Blake on September 9, 1928 in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. Louise went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2010 after a brief illness. Louise's Celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. Louise was one of nine children, seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by sister, Rosie Lee Koch and two brothers, Bill and Doyle Blake. She married the love of her life Charles O. Watson on March 2, 1947, and from that union came two children, Dennie C. Watson (Kathy) and Tina R. Kellogg (Arnold); eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding Louise in death were her parents; five brothers; and her husband, Chuck of 50 years. Louise had a very contagious laugh and always had a positive attitude. She will be dearly missed by her family. One of Louise's favorite things in life was to listen to Dennie and Tina sing gospel music. Louise was her grandchildren's biggest supporter at football games, track meets, soccer games or any other activity they were involved in. She had a big heart and played grandma to many. She was active in her church and once you met her you were family.
