April was born in Barstow, California on December 1st, 1982 to Zola Parker and Donald Betsey. From the moment she was born, she lived her life to the fullest and enriching every life she came in contact with. She loved with her whole heart and laughed with her whole being. She had a presence that was twice the size of her actual person. She was a friend to many as she had an unlimited capacity for love coupled with endearing giggles. She loved Japanese anime, DND, gaming, Halloween, Harry Potter, spending time with her boys and had recently taken up crocheting. She grew up in Barstow, graduating from Barstow High School in 2000 and then Barstow Community College in 2016 with an Associates in Sociology. She was the mother of Shawn and Aiden Evett, Sister of Ericka Dorman and Joshua Betsey, ex-wife of Christopher Evett and partner of Ian Ingold. She will be deeply missed by her co-workers and students at Puesta Del Sol Elementary school after school program Think Together, and to all who knew and loved her.
