

Betty Lou Freeman, a cherished and kind-hearted individual, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on May 28, 1932, in the state of California, Betty Lou lived a life marked by humor, devotion, resilience, and loyalty.
Residing in Daggett, California, Betty Lou was known for her hard-working nature and bravery. Betty was a member of the First Congregational Church for 23 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for 57 years. She was also a devoted member of the Barstow Senior Center ever since they originally opened. She absolutely loved her job as a school crossing guard. She was there for 39 years and helped generations of children cross the street. Her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Betty Lou's legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends. She has 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
