Cassie Jo Venus

Cassie Jo Venus May 18, 1980 - Dec 14, 2016 Age 36 Our Cassie passed through the light into the life here-after. Cassie lost the battle against cancer that she was fighting for the last 3 years. She was very brave and strong. As she passed, she was surrounded by family and close friends. She fought hard for her life, but still continued to live it too. She was a great and loyal human being. She was a Humanitarian. All who she chose to love, were blessed. Cassie will always be loved by her family and friends, forever. May she know love, peace and freedom now. Cassie's faith was the Roman Catholic Church. Her passions in life were in all Arts, Cooking, Family Gatherings, Reading, Travel and Shopping. She attended Montara Elementary, Barstow (Kennedy) Junior High, and graduated at Barstow High School in 1999. She enjoyed working at Home-Depot where she made a lot of friends with coworkers, or while helping Customers on the floor or as a Cashier.

Cassie never married nor had any children. She is survived by her Parents Jody and Irene Venus, her younger brother; Jack Venus. Veronica Maldonado, her partner and children; Alina, Yasmine and Joel. And her beloved Dog; Woodstock. All of Barstow. The Venus Family (on her father's side) who resides in the States of: Arizona, California, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota. The Dado Family (on her Mother's side) in the States of: California, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, Texas and South Eastern States and in The Philippine Islands. She is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. Jack Venus and Wilma Muller of Nebraska, Roy and Eleuteria Dado who moved to Barstow in the 50's when her Grandfather was serving in the U. S. Army.
