

Born in Dawson NM, he joined the Army April 1952 and serviced as a Medical Technician.
He met his wife, Rita Lucero and married on August 5, 1954.
He worked for the Marine Corps Logistics Base and retired after 39 years of service.
Also owner operator of Maes Masonry.
Felix is preceded in death by his wife Rita Maes, father, Amador Maes, mother Fidolina Trujillo, stepfather Pedro Fernandez, sister Criselda Maes, son Robert Maes, son in-law Steve Soto, grandson James Anthony Padilla and Paula Padilla,
He is survived by his sister Fidolina Tucker, daughter Elizabeth Dunn (Randall) , daughter Sylvia Villalobos (Roberto), son Steve Maes (Sylvia), daughter Nancy Soto.
Grandchildren, Robert Villalobos, Joseph Villalobos, Michael Maes, Stephanie Maes, Jesse Maes, Isaac Padilla, Nicole Soto, Andrea Soto, Manuel Soto, Genevie Maes, Danielle Dunn and Tasha Dunn.
And fourteen great grandchildren.
A chapel service for Felix will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road, Barstow, CA 92311. Following the chapel service will be a committal service at 12:30 PM at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd, Barstow, CA 92311-1728.
