Frances was born in Chanute, Kansas on December 8,1932. She Passed away at Desert Valley Hospital on July 23, 2017 Frances moved to California with her family in 1944. She graduated from Barstow High School in 1950 Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Cheesman. She is survived by four daughters, Marcia Durbin, Shirley Barnes, Nancy and Melissa Cheesman; two sons, David and Stephen Cheesman; three grandsons, Tim, Blake, and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Garrett and Lilyana. She was employed by Barstow Unified School District, where she retired after 25 years. She was a Para educator. Frances was a member of St. Philip Neri's Catholic Church She loved to sew, knit, crochet, read and watch the Los Angeles Angels baseball team.
