Raymond Edward Thorn, Jr.

Raymond Edward Jr, loving father, best brother, Uncle, cousin and friend passed away on Wednesday March 30th 2022 at the age of 57. He was preceded in death by Father Raymond Thorn Sr and mother Minnie Thorn.

Ray was born in Chelsea Massachusetts in 1965 but has lived here locally since 1982. He served in the Navy as a Seabee, was a Chinese cook for 13 years at the International Cafe in Yermo, and has worked at MCLB for over 20 years.

Ray is survived by his sons John and Blaine Thorn, sisters Paula Hazelett and her husband Barry, Valerie Eastman, and Susan Thorn, nieces Ashley, Audrey, Autumn, April, Hope, Aislyn, and Brielle, nephews Richard and Mark, ex wife and friend Cindy Kekhelfaoui, numerous extended family members and many friends.

Ray was a fun loving person, loved his rock music, always up for a good time and loved to laugh. He will be missed. Ray was cremated per his wishes. We will be having a celebration of life on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the American Legion in Yermo at 2:00 pm.
