Rosa Patricia Gutierrez a resident of Barstow for over 70 years was called home by the Lord on May 25th, 2015. She was born on April 20th, 1940 in New Mexico to her parents Melton and Beranda Chavez. Rosa worked as a cashier for over 15 years. She was a caring and compassionate individual that always sought out ways to help others. The thing that brought Rosa the most joy was the time spent with her family. She is survived by her husband: Jack; and two children: Denise and Matthew. Also left to cherish the memory of their grandmother are Rosa’s grandchildren: Abigail and Alexandria. Rosa will be missed by her family and friends. The services are under the direction of Mead Mortuary in the city of Barstow, CA.
