Nacida el 24 de abril de 1967 en México, Agustina fue una esposa amorosa, una madre dedicada, una abuelita entrañable, hermana y una gran amiga cuya bondad y generosidad tocaron la vida de todos los que la conocieron.
Agustina era una mujer creativa y talentosa. Le encantaba hacer manualidades y crear cosas hermosas con sus manos, como llaveros, marcos para fotos, portalápices, bolígrafos decorados con flores, bufandas y mucho más. Disfrutaba aprendiendo nuevas manualidades y compartiendo sus creaciones con los demás. Junto a su amado esposo, José Nabor Estévez, también disfrutaba vendiendo camisetas y accesorios de fútbol en el mercado "Flea Market 812" de Austin, Texas.
Agustina estuvo casada con José Nabor Estévez durante más de 20 años. Juntos formaron una familia amorosa y criaron a sus tres hijos: José Irvin Estévez, Ezequiel Estévez y Yazmin Castro. Sin embargo, su mayor alegría era cuidar de su familia. Ser esposa y madre fue uno de los mayores honores de su vida, y su familia siempre ocupó un lugar central en su corazón.
Valoraba especialmente su papel como abuela. Era una abuelita cariñosa, juguetona y atenta que brindaba a sus nietos su tiempo, atención y amor incondicional. También acogió en su corazón a Nico Borja y a Tomás Medina, amándolos como si fueran propios. Para Agustina, la familia no se definía por la sangre, sino por el amor.
Agustina disfrutaba de la pesca y la jardinería, y tenía un don especial para revivir las plantas. Amaba especialmente las rosas, que reflejaban la belleza y el cuidado que ella aportaba a la vida de quienes la rodeaban. Tenía un corazón generoso y hacía que las personas se sintieran bienvenidas, valoradas y amadas.
A Agustina le sobreviven su amada madre, Micaela Hernández; sus hermanos Gregorio, Gelacio, Odilia, Juana, Delfino, Gabriela y Benjamín; y su esposo, José Nabor Estévez. sus hijos: Jose Irvin Estevez, Ezequiel Estevez (Lorraine Borja) y Yazmin Castro (David Castro); sus nietos: Ezequiel Jr., Rafael, Cleo, Isaura y Natalie; sus nietos honorarios: Nico Borja y Tomas Medina; y muchos familiares y amigos que la querían.
Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Miguel Hernandez, y su amado hermano, Gerardo.
La velación se llevará a cabo en Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602, US, el 9 de octubre de 2026, de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm, y el rezo del Santo Rosario tendrá lugar en el mismo sitio el 9 de octubre de 2026, de 7:00 pm a 7:30 pm.
La Misa de exequias cristianas se celebrará en St Paul's Catholic Church, 203 Mills St, Smithville, TX 78957, US, el 10 de octubre de 2026, de 10:00 am a 11:00 am.
El lugar de descanso final será Oak Hill Cemetery, 473 State Hwy 95, Smithville, TX 78957, US, el 10 de octubre de 2026.

Agustina Hernandez De Estevez, 59, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at Seton Main Hospital in Austin, Texas. Born on April 24, 1967, in Mexico, Agustina was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished abuelita, sister, and dear friend whose kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her.
Agustina was a creative and talented woman. She loved crafting and creating beautiful things with her hands, including keychains, picture frames, pencil holders, flower pens, scarves, and so much more. She found joy in learning new crafts and sharing what she created with others. Alongside her beloved husband, Jose Nabor Estevez, she also enjoyed selling soccer shirts and accessories at Flea Market 812 in Austin Texas.
Agustina was married to Jose Nabor Estevez for more than 20 years. Together, they built a loving family and raised their three children, Jose Irvin Estevez, Ezequiel Estevez, and Yazmin Castro. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her family. Being a wife and mother was one of the greatest honors of her life, and her family was always at the center of her heart.
She especially treasured being a grandmother. She was a loving, playful, and a caring abuelita who gave her grandchildren her time, attention, and unconditional love. She also welcomed Nico Borja and Tomas Medina into her heart and loved them as her own. To Agustina, family was not defined by blood, but by love.
Agustina enjoyed fishing and gardening and had a special gift for bringing plants back to life. She especially loved roses, which reflected the beauty and care she brought into the lives of those around her. She had a generous heart and made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
Agustina leaves behind her beloved mother, Micaela Hernandez; her siblings, Gregorio, Gelacio, Odilia, Juana, Delfino, Gabriela, and Benjamin; her husband, Jose Nabor Estevez; her children, Jose Irvin Estevez, Ezequiel Estevez (Lorraine Borja), and Yazmin Castro(David Castro); her grandchildren, Ezequiel Jr., Rafael, Cleo, Isaura, and Natalie; her honorary grandchildren, Nico Borja and Tomas Medina; and many loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Miguel Hernandez, and her beloved brother, Gerardo.
Viewing Services will be held at Bastrop Providence Home 2079 Hwy 71 Bastrop TX, 78602 on October 9, 2026, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will take place the following day, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 203 Mills St. Smithville TX 78957.
Pallbearers will include Ezequiel Estevez, Jose Irvin Estevez, David Castro, Christopher Borja, Landen Borja and German Agustin Borja.
Agustina’s life was filled with love, family, creativity, hard work, and countless cherished memories. Though her family and friends will deeply miss her, the love she gave will live on through everyone whose life she touched.
Agustina was truly one of a kind. She was deeply loved, will be greatly missed, and will forever remain in our hearts.
