Francisco Sanchez Jr.

Francisco Sanchez Jr., 17, of Bastrop, left us unexpectedly due to an auto accident on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Francisco was born in Austin, Texas on September 4, 2001. He attended Bastrop High School and would have been a senior this year.  He enjoyed playing football, hanging out with his friends, and being the big brother even though he was the little brother. He worked part time jobs whenever and wherever he could to help his family, especially his Mom.

Francisco encouraged others to do better and to live life to the fullest.

He is survived by his mother, Priscilla Porras; four sisters, Clarissa Porras and husband Ruben Haros, Ingrid Sanchez, Natalie Sanchez, and Soraya Porras; grandfather, Arturo Valdez and wife, Helen; aunts, Cynthia Munoz and husband Ricardo and Rosalinda Valdez; uncle, Arturo Valdez, Jr.; two nephews, Dominic and Leandro; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019, with interment following at Phelan Cemetery.
