

Alfonso Enrique Lugo was born on May 10th 1946 to Ramona and Luis Lugo Sr. in Nandaime, Nicaragua. Nandaime is a small town in Southwest portion of Nicaragua. He passed away in North Las Vegas, Nevada on September 22, 2017 as his beloved family stood by his bed side. He served his country by serving in the United States Army, and did tours in Vietnam from 1967-1968 in Pleiku, Vietnam. He loved the United States of America and was a dedicated soldier. He held the rank of Sergeant, and continued to serve in the Army for many more years.
He met the love of his life Teresa Marie Lugo (Valdez), at Roosevelt High School in 1963. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1966, and was drafted and sent to Vietnam in 1967. He reunited with Teresa in 1969 and they married on July 24th 1971 in Los Angeles, California. He and Teresa were married for a wonderful 46 years. He held jobs in insurance sales, job corps, qualified interpreter, and social security administration. He adored music, technology, and a wide variety of delicious breads. He loved traveling with his wife and the family. He was a wonderful, kind, caring, humorous; however, a very stern human being. He was a dedicated husband, father, mentor, and grandfather. He was greatly loved by many friends he encountered in his lifetime.
Alfonso Lugo is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Lugo, daughter, Julissa Evans, twin sons, Eric Lugo and Roman Lugo, grandchildren, Gaven Evans, McKelsey Evans, Carly Lugo, Lucas Lugo, Cally Lugo, Ty Lugo, Lacy Lugo, and Dylan Lugo.
He is also survived by his brother, Luis Lugo, Sisters Carmela, Ana, and Rosa, and several nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed forever!
