Bill Mitchell

William Ralph Mitchell, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home in La Quinta, California. Bill was born May 26, 1954 in Van Nuys, CA to the parents of William Andrew & Barbara Mitchell. He graduated from the California College of Mortuary Science with an Associate Degree in 1974 and has been in the Funeral industry for the past 42 years. He had lived in La Quinta for the past 13 years and Palm Desert for 11 years prior to that.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William Andrew and Barbara Mitchell. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pamela Mitchell; daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Jason Ewals of Indio, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Kati Mitchell of Fullerton, CA; brothers, Howard (wife Charlotte) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA and David (wife Linda) Mitchell of Agoura, CA; sister-in-law, Patricia Douglas of Palmdale, CA; Grandson, Chase Mitchell; 2 nieces and 3 nephews; 2 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews. A special thank you to Dr. Luke Dreisbach and his entire staff for the love and support they provided.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 5 – 8 pm at the Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA 92324. A second visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 69855 E. Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at Our Savior’s Church, 1020 E. Ramon Road, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
