Bonnie Ruth Manthe, loved life from the moment she was born on June 24th, 1953 in Tabor City, North Carolina. Bonnie had a way of making others feel like they had known her forever, even if they had just met. Her zest for life showed bright in everything she did.
Bonnie was thoughtful, full of energy, compassion, and always ready to help those in need. She loved being a Teacher (Miss Bonnie), she was a professional Clown (Goldie), and a wonderful painter, crocheter, and crafter. You could find her in the Spring and Summer tending to her garden, making her own decorations for the yard, and playing with her beloved dogs Lucy and Hachi.
Bonnie left this world on Tuesday, April 30th in southern California, surrounded by family and friends. She leaves behind her husband of over 40 years, Ronald, her brother James, her daughters Christine and Robin, her 5 grandchildren Leeahna, Marc, Daemon, Ava, and Ace, and endless amounts of friends and others that she touched.
“You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are gray. You’ll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don’t take, my Sunshine away.”
