Carl Eugene Williams, age 77, of Banning, California passed away on Saturday March 24, 2018. Carl was born November 14, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio. He attended Youngstown University in Ohio for 3 years. He then moved to California and played the drums in a country band before moving to Florida where he purchased a motel on the water. He eventually made his way back to California and worked for Fleetwood Container Division and Display for over 24 years in the City of Industry. Carl was a marathon runner and finished the Honolulu marathon in 1983. He enjoyed traveling, Bocce at Sun Lakes and gambling in Laughlin. Carl was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beaumont.
Carl is survived by his wife, Mitzi Ferguson; sister Janet (Bill) Wiencek, sister-in-law Ronee (Joe) Reyes, brother-in-law Tom (Jean) Bohanan, brother-in-law Andy (Tara) Bohanan and brother-in-law David Bohanan; aunt Gladys Johnson, aunt Ethyl Stabile, godson Jason Sharpe, niece Michele Thomas, niece Linda (Vince) Villalobos, niece Dana McElroy, nephew Ken (Louise) Wiencek, nephew Mike (Julie) Wiencek, nephew Craig (Sarah) Weincek, nephew Tommy (Lindsey) Bohanan, nephew Dylan (Alyssa) Bohanan, nephew Justin Bohanan, cousin John (Virginia) Camodeca, cousin Lloyd Camodeca, cousin Curtis Camodeca, cousin Ernie Camodeca, cousin Jerry Barnet and cousin Jimmy Williams.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife Donna Williams.
A Memorial Mass for Carl will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 255 E. 8th Street, Beaumont, California.
