passed on October 4, 2011 at age 74 in Loma Linda, CA, born December 11, 1936 in Phoenix, Arizona, was a resident of Banning, California for 7 years, Fontana for 34 years and San Dimas 10 years.
He was a Funeral Director for 45 yrs and had worked for Ingold Chapel Funeral Home in Fontana. He was a volunteer with the California Highway Patrol, a member of the Sun Lakes Chorale and the Friendship Club.
Survived by his wife, Toni M. Read of Banning; daughters, Kelli (Michael) Kowalski of Camp Verde, AZ and Kathy (Bob) Tolich of Apple Valley; brother, Gerald Read of Phoenix, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Amber, Kristofer, Matt, Jonathon and Maggi; 1 great-grandchild, Gavin; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Vivette Read and his sister, Patricia Greer.
Services: Mass to be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Avenue, Beaumont, CA 92223. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Rainbow Acres, 2120 West Reservation Loop Road, Camp Verde, AZ 86322 (928) 567-5231.
