Darlene Beverly Felten

Darlene "Beverly" Broin born on October 7, 1935 in Wanamingo, Minnesota.   She met George Felten while attending school in a one-room schoolhouse.  Beverly graduated from Kenyon High School in  1953.  She married George that same year on November 28.  Beverly and George made their home in Southern California.  They had seven children, Mark, Michael, Randy, Constance, Karen, Teresa, and Steven.  Mom to seven, Grandma to 16, and great-grandma to 13 with two more great-grandkids on the way.  She lived a very happy life with George, traveling, entertaining, and watching the family grow.  Bev was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in November 2014at the age of 79.  Mom never changed her sweet disposition and Dad lovingly cared for her until his death in November 2020.  She is preceded in death by her Grandson Jeff Felten, son Mark, husband George, and son Steven.  Mom never lost her lovely smile, joyful laugh, and her caring eyes.  She was the kindest, sweetest woman.  We were all blessed by her goodness and love.  She passed away on Friday April 28 at the age of 87.  She will be missed and always remembered.    

A visitation for Darlene will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A catholic funeral mass will occur Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Kateri Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A graveside service will occur Monday, May 15, 2023 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 11251 Desert Lawn Dr., Calimesa, California 92320.
