Doris Louise Michaels

Doris Louise Michaels, age 98 passed away March 7, 2025 at her home in Sun Lakes where she had lived since 1997. Originally she lived in the classic homes and belonged to a group called the classy ladies. The met for lunch monthly. She was active in many clubs over the years and won many awards for her needlework, other displayed in the main clubhouse. She loved to trace and was also a great fan of the Los Angeles Angels Baseball teams. She attended many games over the years and she even went to the World Series in 2002! One of her favorite past times was to play the slots at Morongo Casino and she was able to do this once a week until her fall in January. Doris is survived by three children, Pam Michaels, Bill Michaels (Chris) , Michael Michaels (Connie). She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.

A visitation for Doris will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Weaver Mortuary & Crematory, 1177 BEAUMONT AVE, BEAUMONT, CA 92223. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1177 BEAUMONT AVE, BEAUMONT, CA 92223. A reception at families home will occur Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Sun Lakes, 6267 Ponte Verde Circle, Banning, CA. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
