Edward Ray Varela, 66, passed away January 25, 2018. He was born in Hanover, New Mexico on March 21, 1951. Ed served in the Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After he received honorable discharge he began his lifelong career as a master barber. Ed was an active member in the Redlands community and owned the Patio Barber Shop since 2000. He was a member of the American Legion and Elks Club. He was well loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, in Riverside, California. God bless my husband, our father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
