Erika Josephine Hernandez passed away on Jan. 8, 2017 in Riverside. She was 37. Erika was a resident of Cherry Valley for a year and previously lived in Fullerton/ Brea for 10 years. She worked as an accountant for 15 years. She was a member of New Creation Church. She enjoyed all genres of music, traveling, going to the river, snowboarding, dancing and skydiving. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She is survived by her father, David L. Hernandez, of Cherry Valley; mother, Yolanda Hernandez, of Cherry Valley; and brothers, David P. Hernandez of Santa Clarita and Kevin Hernandez, of Banning.
A memorial service will be held next week. The time and location of the service will be shared later this week on social media by family members.
