Francisca Ochoa

Francisca Ochoa was born March 29, 1941 in Monterrey, Mexico. She and her family came to Beaumont, California in 1957. She married the love of her life, Fidel Ochoa in 1961 and together they had three daughters, Cindy Ochoa (Cliff), Sandra Scott and Agnes Bisi (Alan).

Known to many as Frances, she worked for the Beaumont Unified School District Food Services Division for 27 years before retiring to enjoy her home, her fruit trees, of which many people enjoyed her persimmons, her husband, her children and six grandchildren, Adrian Mendoza, John Scott (Danielle), Jacob Scott, Andrea Rodriguez (David), Brittany and Madison Bisi and most recently her two great grandsons Seth Scott and Jordy Rodriguez. Frances leaves all of them, along with her sisters Maria Cabrera and Tiburcia Ochoa and brother Refugio C. Valdez and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends from her Church, her work life and the surrounding community. Frances left us suddenly on Friday, October 9, 2015. She was 74 years old and she and Fidel had been married for 54 years.

Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2015 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm with the Rosary Service from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10:00am, all to be held at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Avenue, Beaumont, California. Graveside service will follow the Mass at Stewart Sunnyslope Cemetery, 40 Pennsylvania Avenue, Beaumont, California.
