Harold Garland Hussey

Harold Garland Hussey, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Redlands Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Topeka, Kansas to Robert and Inez Hussey on January 18, 1939.

The family moved to California in 1942 and Harold started school in the Pasadena schools.The family moved to Cherry Valley in 1948 and Harold attended Beaumont Unified Schools, graduating in 1957. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Harold went to work for Cal Trans, retiring after 35 years of service.

Harold is survived by his wife Juanita; sons Curtis (Veronica), Chris (Tasha), Robert (Kitty), Tim, Tracy, Dennis (Colleen) and Douglas (Renee) and daughter Shelly (John) Garrett; brother Duane (Patsy) and sisters Maxine, Faye (Norm), Donnie, Neomia (Bill), and Vi (Sal). Harold is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Judy, daughter Marty, brother Bruce and two sisters Guilia and Beverly.

Funeral services were Saturday March 29, 2014, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California, at a later date.
