Harold was born on August 8, 1926 in San Bernardino, California. Harold passed away on October 5, 2014 in Ontario, California, preceded in death by Elizabeth (Betty) Sandahl, loving wife of 66 years. They are survived by two sons: Brian of Anaheim Hills and Steven of San Bernardino.
Harold served in the Navy during World War II. He retired as Manager of Bank of America, Sterling/Highland Branch in 1984 after 36 years of service. He then worked six years for First American Title. In 1990 Harry and Betty retired to Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, California.
In San Bernardino, Harold was active in the Navy League, Fire Commissioner for the city from 1979-1985, Junior University and Shipmates through the First Congregational Church. In Banning he enjoyed the Men's Golf Club and the Sun Lakes RV Club.
"Life Celebration" services will be held at 10:30am on Monday, October 20th, 2014 at Weaver Mortuary Chapel, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, Ca. 92223. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, 6055 East Washington Blvd., Suite 350, Los Angeles, Ca., 90040.
