James Garnier Bisi

It is with great sadness that the family of James G. Bisi announces his passing. Born in Loyalhanna, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1933 and died in Murrieta, California on March 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; parents Louis and Mary Bisi; brothers William, Thomas, George, and Eugene; and sister Rose Marie Wiatrak. He is survived by sons David, Tustin, CA; Alan (Agnes), Hemet, CA; and Dr. James D. (Jennifer), Lake Elsinore, CA; and by his granddaughters Brittany, Madison, Samantha, and Katherine. He is also survived by his sister Marylou Heiser (Rick) and sisters-in-law Nancy Jane Bisi and Rita Bisi.

Dr. Bisi graduated from Derry Township High School in 1951 and is a Korean Way Veteran. He graduated from California State University (PA), San Jose State University, and Nova Southeastern University. He taught for 38 years beginning in 1959 at San Juan Bautista, CA (4 yrs), Hollister High School (5 yrs), San Bernardino Valley College (4 yrs), and retired in 1997 as Vice-President, Professor Emeritus from Crafton Hills College, CA (25 yrs). He was a lifetime member of numerous educational organizations, particularly those concerned with Student Services, Counseling and Guidance.

He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

James will be interred at the Riverside National Cemetery alongside his wife, following a private ceremony.
