J.B. Davidson was born November 9, 1914, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Nada and John Davidson. He passed away January 17, 2013, in Yucaipa, California. J.B. resided in Beaumont/Cherry Valley for 72 years. J.B.'s wife of 70 years, Edith, preceded him in death in 2006 and son, Tommy Davidson in 1981.
J.B. is survived by two sons, Gary Davidson of Grants Pass, Oregon and Ronnie Davidson of Cherry Valley, California; 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
J.B. served in the Army Air Force for 10 years and was honorably discharged as Sergeant Major. He was also the oldest surviving member of 68 years to Local #440, Electrical Union.
J.B. and his family enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping.
Visitation Monday, January 21, 2013, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Funeral service Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 10:00 AM, both at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Interment followed at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 11251 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
