I will miss Auntie Lyla dearly. Spending time with her was so joyful. I loved hearing her stories of her life and travels. She was such an animated storyteller. I am so thankful I got to spend more time with her after she moved to Solera. She was my connection to my grandmother (Eloise), her eldest sister. Auntie Lyla would tell me cherished stories about my grandparents that I never knew.  She was also very comforting to me when my mother, Judy passed a few years ago.  She told me that my mother is now up in heaven having a ball with my grandparents.  It now gives me comfort to think of Auntie Lyla having a ball with her parents, all of her sisters and of course Uncle Bill.

Lyla was cherished friend.  Always a kind and a wonderful smile.   We will miss her.

My dearest Mom. It is with so much pain that I will be watching your service live from home. David and I are still sick with Covid. The fact that I will be physically absent is devastating. But it’s beyond my control. We will celebrate your beautiful life as soon as we are able.  You were my best friend since the day I was born up until you took your last breath.  I know you will continue to live through me. I’ll miss you so much Mom.

One of the kindest women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.  Thank you for the years of friendship Lyla.  You were so loved by everyone and we will cherish the fond memories of all our holidays and parties that you and Bill shared with us.  💗

I am so sorry to hear about Lyla's passing.  This is a very sad time for those of us who are still here.  She will be greatly missed.  Lyla was a special friend that I have known for several years.  We met in the Tole Painting Class at Solera.  She was our ray of sunshine!  She always had a smile on her face.  Her husband, Bill, also was very special.  She missed him terribly (we all did).  I haven't seen her in a while because I no longer take the class.  We have seen each other on occasion when we are out and about.  These were happy times.  I did try calling but never connected.  I knew she wasn't well, but not that she was so sick.   I will miss her.

I knew Lyla at Solera Tole Painting class for the past year.  She was loving, kind and light hearted. I am so sorry we have lost her and send condolences to you all. She will be missed.

Lyla was such a kind dear person. She was a part of our blended family. She was always at our Thanksgivings, Birthday celebrations and will be so missed. We love you Lyla
