Mildred married Merlin Elwood Joy in 1952, he preceded her in death. Mildred was a child care provider for 18 years. Much of her life was spent in Aurora, Colorado, prior to moving to Sun City, California.
Mildred is survived by her children Cherie (Don) Skinner of San Jacinto, California and Steve (Jackie) Joy of Azle, Texas and 2 granddaughters Jennifer and Amber.
A private family celebration of Mildred's life will be held. Interment will be at Olinger Highland Cemetery, Thornton, Colorado.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
