

Monica was born on November 11, 1961 in Banning, California to Bernardo and Consuelo Hernandez.
She was a graduate of Beaumont High School class of 1979. She went on to work in the real estate industry where she became an Escrow Officer and a Notary.
Monica loved animals and it was not unusual to see her on the side of the road trying to rescue a stray dog or cat.
Monica enjoyed going to the movies, taking long drives to look at wildflowers, weekend getaways, spending time with her family, dancing and listening to live bands.
Monica is survived by her husband of 40 years, Roy Allen Carr; son Carlos Hernandez of Cherry Valley; daughter Corey Menendez of Beaumont; two grandchildren, Andy and Olyvia; two great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Gloria (Larry) Dennison, Martha (Frank) Garcia, Bernie (Deceased) (Barbara) Hernandez, Rebecca (Ramiro) Cabrera, Mark Hernandez, Connie Hernandez, Alice (Richard) Conde, Sandra (Kevin) Gaines. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Bernardo and Consuelo Hernandez; brother Bernie Hernandez.
