Patricia Lecreshia Culver

Patricia “Pat” Culver (Walden), 75, of Beaumont, was called home to meet her Jesus on February 24, 2017. She was a resident of the Beaumont and Banning area for the last 53 years. She had many roles in her short life: mother & father, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister, friend, caretaker, boss, and most of all our Hero. Born in Mesa, AZ on September 30, 1941, she grew up in Oklahoma. As a child, Patricia worked in the cotton fields with her family to help make ends meet. With only an 8th grade education, she became a Manager at the Shirt Factory in Banning, CA, working as a Bar Maid at night to ensure her children had what they needed. She then worked as a Manager at Pants Maker in Banning and then finally retired as a Manager from Addus Health Care at the age of 64. Patricia loved her Jesus, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, friends, gospel music, bright colors, roses, hummingbirds, reading, John Wayne, Tom Selleck, and her diet coke, however, she HATED her feet touched or covered! Patricia never wanted anything fancy or expensive, she was happy with what she had. Patricia had a huge heart and would have given the coat off her back to someone in need. When she didn’t have much herself, she would say, “I have more than others and if someone needs my coat, give it to them!”

She is survived by her children: Harold and Deborah Walden, Sandra and Robert Bush, Jason and Melinda Walden, Aaron Couch and Trisha Couch, Ryan Needham, Craig “Woody” Woodward, Rick Gordon and Derik Kinghorn. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren: Harold Walden IV, Nicole Matos, Josh Walden, Michael Walden, Debbie Delaney, Paul Walden, Candice Walden, Jason Walden Jr, Brandi Toro, Isaiah Colores, Gage Couch, Carly Couch, and Dane Couch and 29 Great Grandchildren, yes 29! She also leaves behind two sisters, Sybil Brojakowski and Nivla Ruth Pullem, two aunts, Sadie Lessenger and Rose Mary Motley, and one uncle, James Motley, and also many, many, dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by parents Virgil Ray and Hazel Lucille White, brothers James Billy Ray White and Virgil Lee White, sisters Diane White, Georgie Crystal Parson and Vivian Ann Flood and Granddaughter Siearra Rose Couch.

The family invites the community to join them in a celebration of life on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2pm at Weaver Mortuary located at 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA. 92223.
