Robert loved his family very much. He always spoke of his love for his children and grandchildren, they were all his pride and joy.
When his girls were young they shared a love of horses with their father and rode horses together. He taught his son Rob how to fix engines, motors and all mechanical things. He loved to paint, sew, and play the ukulele. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and had retired with his adoring partner, Sandy, next door to a golf course.
Robert and Sandy spent their days together riding around with the kids (their dogs) Sammy and Cooper for rides in their golf cart. Sammy and Cooper were his babies. Sandy and Robert would go to the movies weekly and enjoy life together. In his last days he loved watching animal movies all day every day. He would watch the same shows over and over and drive everyone nuts.
