Robert "Honey" Wages went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Bob was born in Loma Linda, CA to J.C. and Virginia Wages on November 7, 1938 and raised in Banning, CA with his brothers, Jack, Steve and Tom. Bob served his country during a four year enlistment (1957-1961) in the U.S. Navy where he learned the electrical trade that he so enjoyed. In 1965, Bob's world became complete when he met and married the love of his life and best friend, Jan Weals Wages. Together Bob and Jan raised a daughter, Dana (Richard) Lane of Banning, CA and a son, David (Melissa) Wages of Kodiak, AK. Bob loved the Lord, life and his family. His passions included hiking, traveling the world, road biking and his three grandchildren, Joshua Lane, Genevieve "Vivy" Wages and Luke Robert Wages. Bob will be remembered for his gentleness, kindness, patience and humor. He will be missed by his loving family, friends and anyone who was fortunate enough to know him. A memorial service will be held at Fellowship in the Pass, 650 Oak Valley Parkway, Beaumont, CA, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA.
