Rogelio was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose life was defined by dedication and love for his family. He grew up in a very close-knit family home, with his parents, grandma, and siblings, where they created countless memories filled with laughter and support. His family meant everything to him and he was someone that his loved ones could depend on.
Throughout Rogelio’s entire life he was a scholar athlete who steadfastly worked to achieve his goals. He earned a degree in Biology from the U of R and was very passionate about contributing to his community. He worked at the County of San Bernardino as an agriculture officer, a role that reflected his sense of responsibility, dedication, and leadership.
Outside of work and school, Rogelio enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved his ice cream, running and spending time playing his video games. Running was a way for him to unwind, it gave him time to clear his mind and to continue to challenge himself. Rogelio found joy in life’s big achievements and its simple pleasures. These moments brought him joy and were often shared with family and friends.
In his meaningful 25 years Rogelio leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and kindness. Rogelio will always be remembered for his bright spirit and positive impact that he made in the lives of everyone who knew him.
