Roy Raymond Frazier, Jr., 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home in Banning, CA. He was born July, 28, 1941 in East Los Angeles, CA to Roy & Wilma Frazier. Roy has lived in Banning for the past 12 years and he had lived in the greater Los Angeles area prior to that where he was a Camp Ranger for the Girl Scouts for 20 years and Boy Scouts for 40 years. Before his retirement from the Girl Scouts in 2012 he had received an Award of Merritt, Silver Beaver Award, and had accomplished many other awards. Along with his many lifetime achievements, Roy was an active member of the Baptist Church of Cudahy and he was in the United States Army from 1958 – 1960.
Roy is left behind by his loving wife, Belinda Keyes Frazier; daughters, Royel Frazier and Belinda Meashell Frazier; son, Leslie Raymond Frazier; 5 grandchildren, DeaJiane, Melody, Charlie, Conner and Dillon; sister, Louise Pickett.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am both at Weaver Mortuary Chapel – 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA 92223.
