She always had that charismatic smile that would cheer everyone up no matter how gloomy you are. Her laughter was so endearing that you would never forget how it sounded echoing everywhere. Her sense of humor, above no one else, will make you appreciate life’s little joys… She was Verna Concepcion Troncales. Was born on February 16, 1968 and joined our Creator on January 14, 2021.
Verna, Beng to most, was more than a smiling face. Amongst a lot more other wonderful qualities, she was very smart too. Had a degree in Computer Science and was always excelling in her academics. She started as a Bookkeeper at Trade Fair in New York, moved to California and did Document Control for Lucent Technology, and finally Data Analyst III at Trimble Navigation since 2004.
She was a loving daughter to Venerando Concepcion and Vida Castillo and was the eldest among five siblings. Having their father join our Creator in 1985, she has been Mommy Vida’s greatest help in raising her siblings, looking after them, that have extended to her nieces and nephews, and to anyone who needs care and advice, her generous heart was ever so accepting, that also kept her young at heart who fancied collecting just about anything that is Mickey Mouse.
She is survived by her greatest love, her knight in shining armor, her high school classmate, her best friend, Mike Troncales. They were married for 16 years and have filled those years with love, though they were not blessed with children, that did not make them any less of a parent because their love transcended to their nieces and nephews and their fur babies Maximus, Milo, and Chewy. They were also faithful servants of God. Verna was an active member of Families in Christ Jesus Community (FCJC). Was very generous in helping the needy and giving everything necessary to help the homeless with donating clothes, food and other needs. She was a true believer that singing praises for our Lord is a powerful prayer, the reason why she was also a member of the choir and sang her heart out during Sunday morning mass.
She is also survived by her siblings Vernon, Vernie, Vez, Vergel and Vivian with whom she was very generous with. From helping them with their education expenses, getting them situated in the US and above all, the generosity of her time that she devoted in making sure that they were guided with great values.
Verna’s life seemed too short, but her kindness and helpfulness not just to those in need but very perceptive of what others need will live longer with us. Now that she has the best seat with our Creator watching over us, we can only pray that her smile will continue to touch our hearts and her laughter fill our thoughts.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.weaver-mortuary.com for the Troncales family.
