Agnes Marie Miller

Mrs. Miller was born February 15, 1925 at Dry Creek, WV. She was the daughter of the late Lacy Alfred Dickens and Nancy Rebecca Price Dickens. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clayton Homer Miller; seven brothers Emerson, Lacy, Paul, Larry, John Quincy, Leander, and Frank; and three sisters Ruth, Nina, and Becky.

She loved children, music, and learning all of her life. She was a member and past president of the Rebecca Lodge at Glen Daniels. She was formerly an employee of Hills Dept. Store in Beckley, WV and Raleigh County Board of Education in Beckley, WV.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons Jerry and fiancé Martha of Beckley, WV; John of Charleston, WV; Jody and wife Ruth of Falls Church, VA; and one daughter, Janet Moye and her husband Stanley of Beckley, WV. She is also survived by one brother, Harry Dallas Dickens of Naoma, WV; one sister Loretta Kay Sanson of Rainelle, WV.

She is survived by eight grandchildren Rebecca Gillenwater, Joseph Miller, Stanley Moye II, Benjamin Miller, Samuel Moye, Bethany Hundley, Catherine Bodeker, and Julie Syner. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren Meghan, Luke, Sadie, Dalton, Elisabeth, Jackie, Alex, Ike, Theodore, Ruth and one great-great-grandchild, Kimora.

Funeral services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, February 17th, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley. Friends may pay their respects from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 16th, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
