Amanda Varney

Mandie was born on January 6, 1990, in Beckley. She graduated from Independence High School in 2007 and was blessed to become a mother of two small children, born in 2010 and 2014. She worked as a front desk clerk at a local hotel.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Kendall Kristine Varney.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Patty and Ray Stanley, her father and step-mother, Donald and Angie Varney, her maternal grandparents, James and Linda Law, her paternal grandparents, Sherman and Doralene Redden, great-grandmother, Rozinia Farmer, her siblings, Brieannah Hunter, Jackie Rose, Avorie Varney, and Jacob Varney, her children Kendalleigha Mayo and Kynnasan Mayo, her fiancé, Jeremy Mayo, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may gather with the family, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Law, Jr., Jeffery Varney, Stephen Varney, Doug Thompson, Scott Doyle, and Randy Hicks.
