
Born on September 16th, 1955, he was the son of the late Auldy Edrick Cecil and Lue Venie Totten Cecil.
Cliff spent his days working in the coal mines as a miner and did so for over 30 years.
In his free time, Cliff enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and taking trips on his side by side with friends, and he loved to explore all types of different areas.
Cliff also loved spending time with all his family at gatherings, having loved his family very much.
In addition to his parents, Cliff is also preceded in death by his loving wife Francis; abrother, Cleve Stanley “Buddy” Cecil.
Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Mikel Cecil of Bluefield; a daughter, Melissia Richmond (Jeremy) of Beckley, WV, Grandson, Lance Richmond of Beckley, WV,; granddaughters, Alexis Richmond of Beckley, WV, Kaitlyn Cecil of Bluefield, VA, and Madelynn Spears of Baileysville, WV; brothers, Gene Cecil (Cathy) of Sterling Heights MI, and Larry Cecil of Odessa, TX; sisters, Mary French of TX, Joyce Cash Rogers (Jerry) of Apex, NC, Linda Miller of Sweeneysburg, WV, Rhonda Porter of Cary, NC, Janice Stover (Bill) of Bradley, WV, Connie Redden (Samuel) of WV, and Toni Bennett (Randy) of St. Albans, WV; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
