Beulah Lee Westmoreland Stoots Trimboli, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Beulah was born on March 7, 1924 in Glen Jean, WV to the late John and Donie Price Westmoreland, and was the oldest of 15 children. Beulah was an icon of Eccles and was a great help to everyone over her many years. Beulah loved living in the mountains, especially in the winter time as she loved seeing the blizzards. The mountains were like her fortress- keeping her safe from harm. Beulah was well-known for her lively “Cherokee” spirit and positive attitude. She loved the Lord and talked about going home to her mansion and seeing His face. Even though times were very hard when she was growing up, she loved all of her children without measure! She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Westmoreland and Donie Price; late husbands, Herbert Stoots and Domenic “Joe Belford” Trimboli; son, Joseph Stoots, age 6 years; brothers, Rufus, Jimmy, Gene, Raymond, Billy, Jack, Hack, Johnny, Douglas, and Tracy Westmoreland; and sisters, Irene Stoots, Hazel Pearl, and Sue Westmoreland. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Herbert Stoots, Charles (Tracy Lee) Westmoreland; daughters, Millie Stoots, Carolyn Westmoreland, Donnia Westmoreland, and Teresa Combs; sisters, Hazel Lawson and Barbara Woods; and her best friends, George Gravely and Paula Milner. During her long years, Beulah enjoyed her family of 7 children, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was a blessing to those who knew her best and loved her dearly. She will truly be missed, but our loss is Heaven’s gain… We will see you on the other side!! In lieu of flowers, the family wishes you to share a memory of Beulah at www.blueridgefuneralhome.com.
