

On March 3rd of 2020, Bobby Neal Daniels was called to his Heavenly home. He was born on August 13, 1934 to Clarice and Wilford Daniels. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Graydon Morgan; a son, Jeffrey Daniels; a twin sister, Donnie Clay; sisters, Margie Phipps, Betty Jean McGinnis and Gladys; and brothers, James, Ray and JR Daniels.
He is survived by his wife, soulmate and best friend, Alice June; his children, Debbie (Freddy) Smallwood, Billy (Patty) Daniels, Timmy (Sharon) Daniels, Donna (David) Webb and Dale Daniels; he is survived by one sibling, Virginia Pearl. He adored his grandchildren, Dezirae, Melissa, Drusilla, Brandy, Billy Jr, Brandon, Michaela, DJ, Joshua, Timmy II, Savannah, and Caleb. He also cherished his 15 great-grandchildren. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He served our Country proudly for seven years and retired from the Department of Highways after 27 years. He was a kind, loving, gentle God fearing man. His favorite scripture from the Bible was Psalm 23, in which he said every night. He loved to joke and pick with anyone he came in contact with. He made anyone who came to visit feel welcome and he never let a guest leave his house hungry. He loved being in the garden and stayed busy doing whatever he could for others. He was an avid Mountaineer fan who loved watching football and basketball.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 pm until the time of the service on Saturday morning at Mattsville Community Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Mattsville Community Church with Pastor Ron Hall officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Dillon Cemetery in Beckley.
Pallbearer honoring Mr. Daniels are Billy Daniels, Jr., Joshua Daniels, Timmy Daniels, Timmy Daniels, II, DJ Webb and Todd Williams.
