Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley, WV Brenda Gay Elswick Brenda Gay Elswick of Mt. Hope, WV passed away February 28, 2015. Born November 15, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rena Wriston Yoney. Brenda was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Elswick and sister, Mary Shrewsberry. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Rena Snyder and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Dylan and Kayleigh. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family Monday from 1 -2 PM at the funeral home.
