Carl Honaker

Born on April 4th, 1954 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late Carl A. Honaker and Dorothy E. Issac Honaker.

Carl spent his life as a truck driver for GFL Environmental. Aside from his career, Carl enjoyed working word searches, tinkering in the garage, listening to music, bird watching, but above all, he loved spending time with his loving family, as well as his German Shepherd, Carly, whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by a son, Jason E. Honaker; and brothers, William "Bill" Honaker, and Terry L. Honaker.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rita Mahala Honaker; 4 children, Carl A. Honaker (Roxanna), Angela L. Honaker, Becky L. Honaker, and Joshua S. Honaker; and grandchildren, Jazzmyn Laird, Chandler McCall, Bryan Brochu, Sebastian Brochu, Kyleigh Honaker, Jason E, Honaker Jr., Izzabella P. Honaker, and Erik "lil Joe" Honaker.

Graveside services for Carl will be on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at 1PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. He will be laid to rest following the service.
