Clifford Eugene Sargent

Mr. Sargent was born February 17, 1966 in Mullens, WV. He was a truck driver, enjoyed hunting, playing golf, camping and talking to anyone he met. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member and the assistant chief of Rhodell Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the Sophia Area Volunteer Fire Department.

He attended the Rhodell Church of God. Clifford was an avid Nascar fan and loved Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

In addition to his parents, preceding him in death is his brother, Wesley Sargent.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 27 years, Sheila Criss Sargent; sons, Cecil Sargent and wife Jessica, Michael Sargent and fiancé India Graham, and Norman Sargent; grandchildren, Mason, Evan, Bella, Landon, Madison, MaKenzie and one on the way; brothers, Allen Sargent and wife Deanna, Tracy Sargent and wife Carla, and Ralph Sargent; nieces, Christina and Alicia; nephews, Bill, Manny, Tyler and Ashton. He also leaves behind a host of beloved friends whom he dearly loved.

Friends may gather with the family, Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6-9pm at Rhodell Church of God.

Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1pm at the church.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gary Elkins officiating. His sons and brothers will serve as pallbearers.
