David Darlin Mullens

David Darlin Mullens, 70, of Stevenson, passed away, Saturday, May 28, 2016 following a short illness. He was the son of the late Robert Mullens and Harriet Lee Mullens. Born January 5, 1946 in Wyoming County, WV. David was a member of Herndon Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, guns, walking with his dogs, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Bolen Mullens of Stevenson; uncle, Howard Mullens of Mullens; daughters, Karen MacEachern of FL and Linda Whipkey and husband Sean of Hico; step sons, James Stafford of Stotesbury and Larry Bolen of Beckley; step daughters, April Reed of Stephenson and Rhonda Billings of Mullens; grandchildren, Whitney, Autumn, Summer, Kory, Kristopher, Kelsey, Kyle and Madeline; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kaylen and Maci and 14 step grandchildren. Friends may gather with the family Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 12-1pm at Herndon Freewill Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1pm at the church with Rev. W.O.
