Dennis Wayne Jordan

Born February 6, 1947 in Beckley; he was a son of the late Elba and Ruby Jordan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Dyanna Jordan; two children, Kevin Jordan (Beth) and Tammy Jordan (Derek); grandchildren, Cayden, Cole, and Luke; sisters, Sandra (Gerry) Kobelia and Vicky Lipton; brothers-in-law, David Fink, and Donald Fink (Darlene);and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dennis was a faithful and loving husband, father, and friend. His love and witness for the Lord was evident to all he met. He served in various capacities over the last 56 years as Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church. Dennis was a Drafting and Civil Engineer Educator for almost three decades in Fayette, Boone, and Raleigh Counties.

Dennis passed away peacefully in his sleep. He will be deeply missed by his family who takes comfort in his life verse: Romans 8:28.

Services to celebrate the life of Dennis W. Jordan will be held at Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church 123 Hoist Road, Beckley Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 7:00PM with Pastor George Wood officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 5:30PM until time of the service Thursday at the church.
