

Doris was a homemaker and attended Maple Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and traveling on bus tours with her sister Ella and friends.
Doris will be reunited with her parents, husband, William “Bill” Marcus, daughters, Lori Marcus Loving, Jeanne Clark, son-in-law, Randall (Pat) Clark, sisters; Ruby McSpadden, Ella Treadway, Brothers Lewis, Larry, and Glen Davis, sister-in-law; Alma Lee Davis, and her brother-in-laws Andy McSpadden and Curtis Stover.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Danny Marcus and wife Rhonda, Donald Marcus and wife Tina, brothers; Donald Davis and Wife Pat, Dennis Davis and wife Nancy, Jerry Davis, Billy Davis and wife Brenda, sister; Drema Stover, brother-in-law; Jack Treadway, sister-in-law; Belinda Susie Davis, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 4th at 1 PM with Pastor Brad Williams officiating at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service. Doris will be laid to rest following the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests all donations be made to Bowers Hospice Care.
