Drema Sue Richmond

Drema Sue Richmond, 78, of Beaver went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2026; she was born on January 8, 1948, in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, to the late Jacob Wallace Yearout and the late Laura Frances Lilly Yearout.

Drema enjoyed cross-stitching, reading her Bible, watching General Hospital and the Hallmark Channel, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Clifftop Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Marie; step-daughter, Janet Richmond; two brothers, Franklin Jacob Yearout and James E. Yearout; two sisters, Deborah Lester and Rebecca Dautartas.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 32 years, Danny Richmond of Beaver; daughter, Barbie L. Helton of Beaver; step-son, Danny Richmond, Jr. of Beckley; brother, Thomas Yearout of Beckley; granddaughter, Jennifer Helton; grandson, Steven Helton and wife, Tiffany; great-grandson, Harley Helton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Drema Sue Richmond will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Keith Manning officiating. Following the services, Drema will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
