Our dear mother, grandmother, and sister, Elizabeth Faye Williams, finished her race and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The fifth of nine children, Faye was born on March 18, 1954, to the late Edward Stanley Carroll and Beulah Mae (Scarbro) McClure. A devoted Christian and a dedicated homemaker, Faye’s love for the Lord and her family shined through her every day. She found great joy in caring for her home and those she loved. She lived by her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She knew exactly where her strength came from and shared that light with everyone she met.
Faye was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Carroll; her mother, Beulah (Carroll) McClure; and her stepfather, Carl McClure.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Gary Webb and Barry Williams; stepson, Danny Williams; sister, Eveline Elswick; and an infant brother, Donald Carroll.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children Jane (Scott) Basham, Gary (Jeannie) Webb, Seneca (Lisa) Webb, Dixie Webb, Barbara (Mohamad) Youssef, and Missy Wriston; grandchildren, Jeremiah Webb, Scott Basham, Jenna Webb, Jill Webb, Amber Abner, Andrew Wriston, Jada Wriston, Chase Webb, and Ava Webb; great-grandchildren, Mason and Nathan Abner; and brothers and sisters Verla Williams, Nancy Long, Joyce Williams, Lena (Harold) Williams, Sandra Williams, Jerry Carroll, and Ronald (Sherri) Carroll;. Faye will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of faith and love remains.
On Monday, April 6th, at 1 P.M., we will honor the life of Elizabeth Faye Williams with a “Service of Remembrance” at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Williams officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, where Robert Maiolo will conduct the graveside service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
