Ella Marie Cook

Ella Marie Cook, 74 of Beckley, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022, peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born February 5, 1948, in Brenton, WV to the late James Walker and Augusta Trump Walker.

Ella was a member of the Welton Bible Church in Allen Junction, WV. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, James Cook; 4 brothers, Roy Lee Walker of Hartsville, SC, Rocy Walker of Glover, WV, Raymond Walker of Brenton, WV, and Johny Walker of Brenton, WV.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Jeffrey Cook and wife Pam of El Paso, TX, and Gregory Cook and wife Heather of Shady Spring, WV. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Ruth Cason of Darlington, SC, Ruby Davis of Thomasville, NC, and Edna Bailey and husband Jerry of Shady Spring, WV; and grandchildren, Alisha, Kaitlin, Hannah, Hayleigh, and Logan Cook and fiancé Peyton Wiseman of Wichita, KS; one great-granddaughter, Charlotte.

Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm with Jerry Bailey officiating.
