
Pax - Geraldine Frances “Jerry” Dickinson Webb, 88, of Pax, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Born at Beards Fork on May 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Dickinson and Virginia Goodson Dickinson.
Jerry was a homemaker and also had worked as an assistant in the office of Dr. Wurst in Bradley for several years. She graduated from Pax High School, class of 1946. She was a member of Long Branch United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oval Webb; brothers, James Robert Dickinson Jr., Herman Ray Dickinson, William “Buster” Dickinson, Jackie D. Dickinson; sisters, Aileen Virginia Lively and Emma Jean Dickinson.
Those left to cherish her memory include, Ray G. “Mickey” Dickinson and wife Patricia and family of Meadow Bridge, WV, Jennifer Dickinson and family of North Carolina, and Robert
“Bob” Lively and family of Virginia.
Jerry had no children, but there were many nieces and nephews who enjoyed visiting with her over the years. Scott Dickinson and wife, Gayle, were her caregivers for the past two years.
The family wishes to thank all extended family and friends who called, sent cards, gifts, or ran errands for her. She enjoyed them all.
Per Jerry’s request, the family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11am, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Serenity with Pastor Connie Holly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in her memory to Long Branch United Methodist Church, c/o Larry and Phyllis Kelly, 113 Old Long Branch Road, Mt. Hope, WV 25880.
